Start your day trip touring the highlights and attractions of the ancient city of Marrakech; the red walled city founded in 12th century, the Koutoubia Mosque as one of the most perfect islamic and religious centers in North Africa. Then, we drive to the Jewish Mellah to see the Bahia Palace built in the late 19th century, the name is sought from the title given to one of the Visier Ahmed Ben Moussa favourite wife. After, head to the Kasabah section to admire the most beautiful site in Morocco and Marrakech as well: The Saadian Toms, a royal necropolis from 16th century but recently explored in 1917 and restored. It contains magnificent decoration embellished with Gold leaf brought from Timbuktu.
In the afternoon, you stroll across the small narrow streets inside the medina to explore the famous Souk or the ancient Market; selling everything from leather, clothing to spices. After you go to enjoy the astonishing spectacular Jemaa Lfna Square with its entertainers forming circles surrounded by on-lookers both locals and tourists. While touring the Square, you will see snake-charmers, belly-dancers, water-sellers, fresh juice vendors, acrobats, monkey’s tamers, shoe-shiners and story-tellers.
